To celebrate this significant anniversary, Bagpuss and friends are the subject of the very latest British Isles Brilliant Uncirculated 50p Coin Set released by the Guernsey Treasury.

FIVE New 50p designs have been released, each featuring a well-loved character from the series, including:

• Bagpuss, Emily’s saggy old cloth cat
• Professor Yaffle, the carved wooden bookend
• Gabriel, the banjo-playing toad
• Madeleine the rag doll
• The Mice and their Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ

Each coin has been struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated finish, with the addition of vivid colour to bring the characters to life.

The coins come housed in bespoke Bagpuss packaging, ensuring they are protected for years to come. 

Importantly, this set is the only way that you can all five Brilliant Uncirculated coins. Other than the Bagpuss 50p, none of the designs will be available to purchase individually.
