Extremely limited: The Seymour Panther 5oz Silver Proof Coin

To commemorate the heraldic statues that stand guard at the Moat Bridge of Hampton Court Palace, The Royal Mint have released the first coin in The Royal Tudor Beasts Collection — The Seymour Panther.

In celebration of his marriage to Jane Seymour, Henry VIII looked to the royal treasury of beasts for a gift to his wife, choosing The Seymour Panther.

Illustrator David Lawrence portrays the fierce beast on the coin with flames flowing from its mouth and ears, establishing its mighty nature.

5oz Pure Silver
