2022 celebrates the 50^th anniversary of Pride, and to mark the event a 50p has been released by The Royal Mint.

Expertly struck from .925 Sterling Silver to a perfect Proof finish, this 50p has been designed by LGBTQ+ activist Dominique Holmes and features rarely used selective colour printing.

Crucially it's the FIRST UK coin released to celebrate Pride, with the reverse design featuring five rainbows, each accompanied with part of the inscription, “PRIDE PROTEST VISIBILITY UNITY EQUALITY”.

JUST 4,000 issued worldwide

Importantly, JUST 4,000 single Silver 50ps have been issued worldwide. When you consider 1.9 million people took part in the 2019 Pride in London parade, it's not surprising this is already SOLD OUT at the Mint.
