I ordered several British £5 coins from Westminster. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I will be ordering more from them in the future!
I am very pleased with the Prince Phillip coin, but I would like to see more from the 1930-1940-1950 era
My Grandparents came from England. I was lucky to see Queen Elizabeth II twice in Vancouver, BC and Princess Margaret. Also, Prince Charles and Princess Diana (1985) Expo. When Charles with both William and Harry were going to Whistler, BC. I love the coin for Prince Philip and have it displayed in my office along with other photographs.
UK 2021 Prince Philip £5 BU Pack
Official UK £5 BU Pack issued to mark the life of HRH Prince Philip
To mark the life and achievements of the late Duke of Edinburgh, HRH Prince Philip, The Royal Mint has just released a brand new UK £5 coin.
This new commemorative features a never before seen portrait of Prince Philip by renowned engraver Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS. Significantly, the Duke of Edinburgh himself played a key role in the design of this coin and approved the portrait.
It is understood that the memorial portrait was selected by the Duke of Edinburgh in 2008. It is traditional for the obverse designer of the current UK coins to also design the reverse of memorial coins, hence why Ian Rank-Broadley undertook this portrait of Prince Philip.
The obverse of your coin features the fifth definitive portrait of HRH Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
Your coin has been struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated quality so you know it will be free from any of the marks or blemishes you would find on coins in your change.
What’s more, it comes beautifully presented in stylish packaging from The Royal Mint and is available at The Royal Mint’s official issue price of JUST £13 (+p&p).
