UK 2020 Agatha Christie £2 BU Pack
Celebrate the Queen of Crime with this NEW £2 BU Pack
Agatha Christie is undoubtedly one of the most renowned novelists that the world has ever seen. Best-known for her fictional detectives Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot, Christie is the best-selling author of all-time. And now she is celebrated on a NEW UK £2 coin.
The Royal Mint has issued this new coin to mark the 100th anniversary of the publication of her debut crime novel – The Mysterious Affair at Styles – which was first published in the US in 1920.
The intricate design by David Lawrence includes all the hallmarks of a Christie novel with a scattering of clues cleverly underscored by the missing piece of a puzzle. What’s more, the edge inscription bears Poirot’s iconic phrase: ‘LITTLE GREY CELLS’.
This coin has been struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, so you know it will be free from any of the marks or blemishes you would find on coins in your change. It comes beautifully presented in bespoke Royal Mint packaging and is available at the Royal Mint issue price of JUST £10 (+p&p).
