The Age of the Dinosaur Supersize 65mm Coin

The supersize coin with a hidden secret...

We are delighted to announce the exclusive distribution rights for the first ever interactive Supersize dinosaur coin.

The Age of the Dinosaur Coin has been plated in 24 carat gold and depicts a beautiful full-colour image of five dinosaurs – a T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, Pterodactyl and Parasaurolophus.

But perhaps the most fascinating aspect of this coin is its hidden secret…

Each coin comes with its own special micro-torch which has a UV light. Shine the torch across the surface of the coin to reveal the full skeletons overlaid on the picture of the dinosaurs. The Age of the Dinosaur Supersize Coin has a special ultraviolet light reactive coating which only shows up when UV light is applied.

Struck to a high proof finish, this coin has an edition limit of just 995, which is unlikely to be enough given this unique feature.

65 million years ago the dinosaurs became extinct, along with 50% of other life forms on the planet. They were the dominant species on our planet for 135 million years – hominids like us have only been around for 10-20 million years and dominant for much less than that.

But, despite their extinction, dinosaurs hold lasting appeal as can be seen by the popularity of films like Jurassic Park and exhibitions like those at the National History Museum - still widely popular today.

If you would like to add one of these fascinating coins to your collection it is recommended that you secure yours today.
