A Great Coin for a Great Queen

Another lovely heirloom for my daughter to have. Beautifully painted and honours Her Majesty's long reign, the sapphire anniversary of her coronation and deep-seated service to the country.

    A beautiful piece

This is a beautiful coin. I particularly like the picture of the Queen in her coronation regalia on the reverse side. I have this coin right next to the one commemorating her Sapphire Jubilee.

The Queen's 65th Coronation Anniversary Silver Proof Five Pound Coin

  • £85.00

Own the Silver £5 coin that marks a first for British Royalty

On the 2nd June 1953, millions of people worldwide watched as a young woman walked up the aisle of Westminster Abbey to become Queen Elizabeth II. It truly was an incredible occasion.

And today, 65 years later, you have the chance to commemorate the Coronation of our Queen with a special sterling silver £5 proof coin.

Introducing the 65th Coronation Anniversary Silver Proof £5

The reverse design features the full colour official Coronation photograph of Her Majesty in her Coronation robes taken by renowned royal photographer Cecil Beaton.

As you would expect with any British Isles coin, it is struck to the official UK £5 Silver specification, containing 28.28g of Sterling Silver and finished to the highest Proof quality.

Limited to just 2,018 Coins

The £5 coin is among the most prestigious coins issued across the British Isles, reserved for the most important commemorations of the year.  As one of the most prestigious issues, it also carries a very low edition limit.

Just 2,018 Silver Proof £5 coins have been authorised for release.  That is a very small edition for a British Isles Silver £5 Coin.  You just have to look at the Jersey sell-out of the Queen’s 90th Birthday Silver Proof £5 Coin, with a larger 2,500 edition to give you some indication of likely collector demand.

A coin to pass down the generations

We’ll never see another 65th Coronation Anniversary in our lifetimes, and it’s unlikely your children or grandchildren will either.  And that’s why this coin is so important.

It marks a unique and remarkable moment in royal history.  A moment that we must cherish as a nation.  A moment we should pass on to our children and grandchildren.

You can secure yours today for just £85 (+p&p) which of course includes your Official Certificate of Authenticity and Wooden Presentation Case.

Demand for commemoratives celebrating HM Queen Elizabeth’s 65th Coronation Anniversary are guaranteed to be in high demand, so with just 2,018 available worldwide it is recommended you order today yours to avoid disappointment.
