Eight original coins from the year Prince Philip was born

Prince Philip was born in 1921 – more than a century ago.

This collection brings you eight original coins struck by The Royal Mint in that very year.

Now over 100 years old, these historic coins provide a tangible connection to the year his remarkable life began. Each will arrive protectively sealed in a tamperproof numismatic capsule.

The Prince Philip In Memoriam Royal Mail Stamps

Completing the collection are four commemorative stamps issued by Royal Mail following the death of Prince Philip in 2021, paying tribute to his life and public service.

The photographs capture The Duke at different moments throughout his life, including at a passing out parade at Dartmouth Naval College and at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Each stamp is individually postmarked 24th June 2021 – its first day of issue – using a specially designed postmark.
