On 21 January 1976, history was made when Concorde carried her first fare-paying passengers - marking the beginning of one of Britain’s greatest engineering achievements.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of that landmark flight, the new Concorde 50th Anniversary 50p Coin has been officially authorised for release.
