UK 2021 Remembrance Day £5 Silver Proof Coin
Remembrance Day £5 Silver Proof Coin
Honouring those who bravely worked, fought and died during the First and Second World Wars, this year’s Remembrance £5 coin pays tribute to the sacrifices made for our freedoms today.
Honour the Fallen
Issued by The Royal Mint, the UK 2021 Remembrance Day £5 Silver Proof Coin is enhanced by colour printing, depicting four symbolic red poppies alongside the inscription ‘At the going down of the sun & in the morning we will remember them’ — taken from the famous poem For the Fallen written by Laurence Binyon.
Designed by artist Gary Breeze, this £5 coin has also been produced in collaboration with Imperial War Museums (IWM).
