The Wedding that made history

Posted by Catherine Antignani on

It may have been a week ago, but Harry and Meghan’s wedding has left a lasting impression across the world.

From the A-list celebrity guests (Oprah, David Beckham and Elton John to name a few), to the adorable bridesmaids and page boys that accompanied Meghan down the aisle, it was a Royal Wedding that made history.

The wedding broke records in the US as the most watched Royal Wedding in history with approximately 29.2 million people tuning in on their TVs. That’s not to mention to the thousands of people that descended upon Windsor in the hope of getting a glimpse of the newly married couple in person.

Suitably marking the occasion, a host of spectacular commemoratives have been released to honour the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Here are some of the favourites that are still available to add to your collection:

In collecting terms this is a first – the fastest NumisProof ever produced and likely to be the very first to feature an image from the actual Wedding Day.

Limited to just 2,018 worldwide, this is the perfect memento of the Royal occasion that very few can own.
