JUST ANNOUNCED: Brand new Silver Penny issued to celebrate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s firstborn child
Posted by David Whittaker on
At 5.26am on 6th May, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first son into the world, weighing a healthy 7lbs 3oz.
Seventh in line to the throne, this is their Highnesses’ firstborn child and also The Queen’s eighth great-grandchild.
To mark this joyous occasion The Royal Mint have announced a brand new limited edition Silver Penny. Struck from .925 Silver to a Brilliant Uncirculated finish and beautifully packaged, this special coin is the perfect way to celebrate the new addition to the Royal Family.
Importantly, the coins are being struck for a limited time only - until the end of May - meaning the availability of this issue is extremely limited. With collector interest for the Royal Family at an all-time high across the globe, there is no doubt that these are going to be highly sought-after.
We will be securing a limited stock of the Silver Penny for collectors. If you would like to be in with the chance of owning one for your collection, please register your details in the form below. As soon as we have received our allocation we will be in touch with you to let you know how you can secure your coin, which we expected to be in June.
