Honouring those who bravely worked, fought and died during the First and Second World Wars, this year’s Remembrance £5 coin pays tribute to the sacrifices made for our freedoms today.

It features a design by acclaimed artist Gary Breeze — four red symbolic poppies sit alongside the inscription ‘At the going down of the sun & in the morning we will remember them’ — taken from the famous poem For the Fallen written by Laurence Binyon.
